Rebuilt Title, Fully Road-Ready. Branded Title

A rebuilt title means a vehicle was repaired after a damage event and then inspected by the state. We specialize in making those cars look and drive like new, while saving you thousands.

What is a branded title?

A rebuilt title means the vehicle was previously declared a total loss (e.g., collision, theft recovery, hail, flood), then professionally repaired and passed Nevada DMV inspection so it’s road-legal again. The “rebuilt” brand stays on the title permanently for transparency.

What’s the difference between SALVAGE and REBUILT?

  • Salvage = not road-legal. It’s a vehicle that’s been totaled and hasn’t been repaired/inspected yet.
  • Rebuilt = repaired + inspected + road-legal. In Nevada, Part I of the inspection must be completed by a Nevada Registered Garage, Licensed Body Shop, or Rebuilder, and the DMV completes the final section before titling/registration.
Tip: Other states use different terms (e.g., “revived salvage” in CA). We stick to Nevada rules on repairs and inspections.

Are branded-title cars safe to drive?

Yes, when they’re repaired correctly and inspected. At Fairway, every car goes through our 120-point safety inspection, then a Nevada DMV rebuilt inspection before we list it. We stand behind the work with a 3-month / 4,500-mile Engine & Transmission warranty, extendable up to 5 years.

Why are branded-title cars cheaper?

Title branding affects resale value, branded titles need to be discounted at least 25% of clean retail value so the market prices them below comparable clean-title cars, your savings. There isn’t a Nevada law that forces a fixed discount; pricing is market-driven.

Can I get full-coverage insurance on a branded title?

Yes, many insurers cover rebuilt titles, but availability, coverage, and rates vary by company and vehicle. Some carriers won’t insure a vehicle they previously totaled; others will. We can share local insurers customers have used.

Can I finance a rebuilt-title vehicle through Fairway?

Absolutely. We work with lenders who finance rebuilt titles daily, covering a wide range of credit profiles. Apply online in minutes; we’ll shop options and keep you posted.

What’s included with my car purchase?

We include:
  • Warranty: 3-month / 4,500-mile Engine & Transmission (extendable up to 5 years)
  • Nevada smog (if required)
  • Full detail (interior shampoo)
  • Fresh service (full synthetic oil + oil filter; air/cabin filters as needed)
  • 30-day movement permit & help with DMV registration for qualifying customers

Where do your cars come from?

We buy selectively from certified insurance auto auctions, focusing on lighter-damage vehicles where the engine, transmission, and structural integrity weren’t compromised. Repairs are performed in our licensed body shop behind the dealership, and before/after photos are provided when available.

Can I bring my own mechanic?

Yes! We welcome pre-purchase inspections. Bring your tech to our shop, we’ll provide space and time for a thorough look.

Do you accept trade-ins?

Not at this time. To maintain our quality standard, we source inventory directly from insurance auctions. If you need to sell your current vehicle, we’re happy to recommend trusted local options.

What should I bring to finalize financing?
  • Government-issued ID
  • Proof of income (recent pay stubs or 3 month bank statements)
  • Proof of residence (recent bill with your name/address)
  • Proof of insurance
  • Down payment method (if applicable)

What if something happens after I buy?

We can’t promise nothing will ever go wrong, but we do promise to be here. Call us for any concern, during warranty and after. From A/C recharges to door dings to routine maintenance, we’re your one-stop shop for car care.

Will it pass smog/inspection?

Yes, all vehicles are smog compliant at delivery (where applicable).
